CODE OF ETHICS
As independent members of
the North American Recycled Rubber Association, we
recognize the important role that the recycling of scrap
rubber plays in both the environmental stability and
development of North America. We further recognize our
responsibility as persons engaged in this industry, to
provide our customers with dependable, environmentally
safe products that will be an outstanding value in
quality and performance. In order to achieve these
objectives, we pledge our adherence to this Code of
Ethics.
|
We shall keep
ourselves well informed in scrap rubber
reclamation and related technical skills and
apply these skills to the production and
distribution of our end products. |
|
We shall strive
to conduct our business in such a manner that
will be an asset to the community in which we
live and an establishment for which our employees
shall be proud to work. |
|
Realizing our
dependence upon each other to build a strong
industry, we shall encourage and assist others
wherever possible and shall refrain from making
any false or disparaging remarks regarding their
business, their policies, their services or their
products. |
|
In the
distribution and sale of our products, we shall
refrain from making any false or misleading
statements about our product, either through the
advertising media or personal contact. |
|
We shall
endeavour to identify and speak out through the
Association, about scrap rubber collection and
distribution practices which can be injurious to
the environment creating unnecessary extra costs
and aggravation to authorities having
jurisdiction, while going against the standards
of good business practices for which the
Association stands. |
|
We shall
endeavour to take whatever steps are necessary to
change, improve and sustain a strong public image
worldwide, in all matters dealing with the
collection, sorting, processing, manufacturing
and distribution of scrap rubber wherever we may
be, regardless of circumstances, to the
betterment and uplifting of the North American
Recycled Rubber Association. |
|
Only by acting in
all things in a manner that merits public trust
and confidence, will we be able to continue to
improve the public image of scrap rubber
reclamation and its associated activities and
thereby convey to the public, a clearer
understanding of the high standards observed and
maintained by those members of the North American
Recycled Rubber Association who adopt this code. |
