Over the past 30 days The Secondary Commodity Index, which tracks market trends across 11 recycling industry sectors. declined 2.48%.

Scrap Metals fell 5.28%, wastepaper was up 2.86% while recovered plastics increased 0.18%.

The Waste to Energy Index advanced 0.69%, Textiles decreased 0.74%, and activity in the recovered industrial minerals sector resulted in a positive 0.23%. Precious and exotic metals fell 1.38% and the scrap tire index was down 0.68%.

The Municipal Curbside Recycling Index decreased 4.81%, Electronic Scrap was down 1.89% and the Automotive Recycling Index fell 5.76%.
