Over the past 30 days The Secondary Commodity Index, which tracks market trends across 11 recycling industry sectors. advanced 1.34%.

Scrap Metals rose 1.84%, wastepaper was up 2.07% while recovered plastics increased 0.18%.

The Waste to Energy Index advanced 3.54%, Textiles unchanged, and activity in the recovered industrial minerals sector resulted in a positive 0.15%. Precious and exotic metals rose 4.70% and the scrap tire index was up 0.59%.

The Municipal Curbside Recycling Index increased 2.13%, Electronic Scrap was up 0.29% and the Automotive Recycling Index rose 1.47%.
