Over the past 30 days The Secondary Commodity Index, which tracks market trends across 11 recycling industry sectors. advanced 1.34%.

Scrap Metals rose 1.83%, wastepaper was up 0.38% while recovered plastics increased 1.12%.

The Waste to Energy Index advanced 0.41%, Textiles unchanged, and activity in the recovered industrial minerals sector resulted in a positive 0.13%. Precious and exotic metals rose 1.89% and the scrap tire index was up 0.43%.

The Municipal Curbside Recycling Index increased 4.04%, Electronic Scrap was up 1.61% and the Automotive Recycling Index rose 0.70%.
