Over the past 30 days The Secondary Commodity Index, which tracks market trends across 11 recycling industry sectors. declined 1.74%.

Scrap Metals fell 2.07%, wastepaper was up 1.08% while recovered plastics increased 0.76%.

The Waste to Energy Index advanced 2.08%, Textiles decreased 0.73%, and activity in the recovered industrial minerals sector resulted in a positive 0.04%. Precious and exotic metals fell 4.89% and the scrap tire index was down 0.21%.

The Municipal Curbside Recycling Index increased 5.11%, Electronic Scrap was down 4.66% and the Automotive Recycling Index fell 2.59%.
