Over the past 30 days The Secondary Commodity Index, which tracks market trends across 11 recycling industry sectors. declined 1.77%.

Scrap Metals fell 0.69%, wastepaper was down 3.34% while recovered plastics decreased 2.46%.

The Waste to Energy Index declined 13.71%, Textiles decreased 3.70%, and activity in the recovered industrial minerals sector resulted in a negative 0.01%. Precious and exotic metals rose 0.49% and the scrap tire index was down 0.26%.

The Municipal Curbside Recycling Index decreased 5.42%, Electronic Scrap was down 1.63% and the Automotive Recycling Index fell 0.60%.
