Over the past 30 days The Secondary Commodity Index, which tracks market trends across 11 recycling industry sectors. declined 5.44%.

Scrap Metals fell 10.97%, wastepaper was up 7.61% while recovered plastics decreased 0.55%.

The Waste to Energy Index declined 17.47%, Textiles decreased 2.87%, and activity in the recovered industrial minerals sector resulted in a negative 0.07%. Precious and exotic metals fell 2.75% and the scrap tire index was down 0.73%.

The Municipal Curbside Recycling Index decreased 5.33%, Electronic Scrap was down 5.06% and the Automotive Recycling Index fell 8.50%.
