Over the past 30 days The Secondary Commodity Index, which tracks market trends across 11 recycling industry sectors. declined 2.44%.

Scrap Metals fell 4.23%, wastepaper was down 3.93% while recovered plastics decreased 0.37%.

The Waste to Energy Index advanced 12.85%, Textiles increased 0.92%, and activity in the recovered industrial minerals sector resulted in a positive 0.03%. Precious and exotic metals fell 1.19% and the scrap tire index was down 0.50%.

The Municipal Curbside Recycling Index decreased 7.08%, Electronic Scrap was down 1.59% and the Automotive Recycling Index fell 4.90%.
