Over the past 30 days The Secondary Commodity Index, which tracks market trends across 11 recycling industry sectors. declined 1.02%.

Scrap Metals fell 1.57%, wastepaper was down 3.28% while recovered plastics decreased 1.28%.

The Waste to Energy Index declined 7.03%, Textiles increased 1.07%, and activity in the recovered industrial minerals sector resulted in a positive 0.04%. Precious and exotic metals rose 0.83% and the scrap tire index was up 0.36%.

The Municipal Curbside Recycling Index decreased 1.12%, Electronic Scrap was down 1.12% and the Automotive Recycling Index rose 1.40%.
