Over the past 30 days The Secondary Commodity Index, which tracks market trends across 11 recycling industry sectors. declined 1.07%.

Scrap Metals fell 1.61%, wastepaper was down 2.04% while recovered plastics decreased 5.47%.

The Waste to Energy Index advanced 5.05%, Textiles increased 0.58%, and activity in the recovered industrial minerals sector resulted in a negative 0.01%. Precious and exotic metals rose 1.39% and the scrap tire index was down 0.26%.

The Municipal Curbside Recycling Index decreased 0.84%, Electronic Scrap was up 0.12% and the Automotive Recycling Index fell 1.82%.
