Tuesday October 01, 2019 Over the past 30 days The Secondary Commodity Index, which tracks market trends across 11 recycling industry sectors. advanced 0.61%. Scrap Metals fell 3.16%, wastepaper was down 1.53% while recovered plastics decreased 4.45%. The Waste to Energy Index advanced 0.19%, Textiles decreased 0.51%, and activity in the recovered industrial minerals sector resulted in a positive 0.05%. Precious and exotic metals rose 0.97% and the scrap tire index was down 0.04%. The Municipal Curbside Recycling Index decreased 3.17%, Electronic Scrap was up 9.88% and the Automotive Recycling Index fell 4.47%. |
