Vehicle Reclamation Services, LLC (VRS) is pleased to introduce an exciting, exclusive, concept for Urban Friendly Surface Mining...a revolutionary solution to the reclamation of end-of-life vehicles in an environmentally friendly, legal, safe and efficient way. Unlike the traditional junkyard, VRS will disassemble cars and small trucks on a state of-the-art, indoor, systematic, semi-automated, flow process based on “Lean” principles and a proven manufactured disassembly system used in Europe for nearly three decades. Capable of processing 40,000 thousandsof end-of-life automobiles per annum in a single plant, VRS will produce huge concentrations of reclaimed materials and parts. VRS’ process will be able to recover 99.5% of a vehicle a capability that will change the paradigm of vehicle reclamation in the United States.
VRS will provide a high volume, high quality, one-stop source of feedstock for manufacturers of metals and other materials; automotive parts to re-manufacturers and reclaimed automotive parts to retailers. This will encourage companies to seek out VRS, to award single source purchase agreements for materials and parts replacing their need for scrap purchases from hundreds of junkyards.
VRS’ seasoned team has a broad spectrum of experience in materials reclamation, manufacturing, consulting, organization enhancement, finance, automotive service, marketing and media/public relations.
VRS estimates that the initial processing of as few as 18 vehicles per day during the first year of real-time operations will produce positive cash flow in 6 months. Profitability is projected to be reached within eleven months in the first plant.
Cash flow increases as production increases. A controlled through-put ramp-up program will bring the number of disassembled vehicles in a single disassembly center to 40,000 in the third year of operation that would generate over $45 million in revenues and $32 million in EBITDA, based on today’s projections.
