Industrial Surplus Inc (CT) in Recycler's World

Industrial Surplus Inc (CT)
Founded by Louis Brunette with a truckload of Government surplus milling cutters in 1952, Industrial Surplus has grown to become one of the top-line secondhand machine tool dealers in the United States. Using the manufacturing expertise he gained first as a form tool maker and then as the owner of a successful tool shop, Lou has made sure the company has kept pace with the rapidly changing manufacturing environment. In keeping with the general trend towards increased specialization, Industrial Surplus has chosen to put emphasis on several areas including CNC retrofits and reconditioning and retrofitting milling machines, Cincinnati brand products in particular. In fact, the company is probably the leading authority on Cincinnati production style mills. This retrofit process marries the best of the old and the new, the heavy duty construction and inherent stability of older machinery and the reliability, speed and accuracies that the new electronics bring.
