A byproduct of ball production is high-quality steel sludge, comprised almost completely of 52100 allow steel and stainless steel. Aluminum oxide is also included in the sludge. The sludge is dried to a moisture content of approximately 15% water and exists in ''cakes.'' Looking for a possible use for this material.
