Message :

April 14, 2009 (Tampa, FL) – Creative Recycling Systems (CRS), an industry leader in the processing of end-of-life electronics has been selected as a recycler for Electronic Manufacturers Recycling Management Company (MRM). A joint venture between Panasonic, Toshiba and Sharp, MRM is working to bring manufacturers and recyclers together. The new partnership ensures that electronic products from various manufacturers and consumers are diverted from the waste stream and recycled in an environmentally responsible manner at CRS processing facilities in Morrisville, NC and Tampa, FL.

The first step in this developing collaboration is for Panasonic, Sharp and Toshiba to support the recycling of their branded products at 31 county and municipal collection sites across the Southeast. “We are very excited about this new relationship with Creative Recycling Systems,” said David Thompson, President of MRM and Director of Environmental Affairs for Panasonic Corporation of North America. “MRM was founded to provide convenient and responsible electronic recycling opportunities to consumers. We are pleased to work with a leading-edge company like CRS to further develop our recycling programs.” A list of the sites that Panasonic, Sharp, and Toshiba are supporting can be found at www.MRMrecycling.com

The increasing need for safe and responsible handling of end-of-life and obsolete electronic products have inspired CRS to develop safe and innovative E-cycling solutions. Using state-of-the-art technology and offering customer focused programs, CRS manages the removal, tracking, data security, and processing of electronics while always protecting the environment.

“Being selected by MRM and the OEM’s it represents is truly and honor,” said Jon Yob, President and Chief Executive Officer of Creative Recycling Systems, Inc. “The network that MRM has established and continues to build upon is the most comprehensive in the nation and we look forward to playing a role on a national level.”
